Celeste Dress

Who doesn’t need a cool summer dress right about now? Celeste Dress is just that! When Kennis of Itch-to-Stitch mentioned linen for this dress, I took her seriously. I just happened to have one piece of linen in my massive stash, this navy blue, and just enough of it to cut my pattern.IMG_5118

Celeste Dress comes in sizes 00-20. Here are some features from the listing:

  • Options for A, B, C, D and DD cups
  • Front and back princess seams
  • High-waisted center-front gathers
  • Slanted front pockets
  • Invisible side zipper
  • Cool short sleeves
  • Layers feature—print only the sizes you need

I just love the different size cups printed separately! It make a pattern so easy to fit. I made my usual size 2 shortened the bodice 1″, the skirt 2″, and graded to size 4 hips (although it ended up not being necessary).

The pattern instructions are written with a size zipper, but I am able to get mine on over my head without it, so I skipped it when sewing. It made the construction pretty fast. After seeing so many colorful tester versions, I’m anxious to make another in a pretty print!IMG_5109

I love my Celeste Dress and think you will love the breeziness of it too! It’s so comfortable on hot days!

This post contains affiliate links. It doesn’t cost you any extra, but I receive a small commission if you choose to follow them. I would love to say I’m using the extra cash to help our youngest son with college costs, but it’s not enough for that. Haha! It does help with replacing sewing supplies though.
