Can you believe it; I actually have a blog! It’s taken me several years to gather up the courage and to come up with a name. We threw around ideas at home, some of them pretty crazy and elaborate. It ended up being quite simple since I wanted something easy to remember.
I’m not a very techie girl, so it will probably take me a while to figure out all the buttons and links and what to do with it all. For the featured picture, I chose a snippet of a quilt I made for my son several years ago. I thought it would be good to explain what it is. This was my first non baby sized quilt, pieced and bound by me and quilted on a long arm machine by my friend Sue. My son has long since outgrown the twin sized bed this fit on so it’s been folded up into a closet for a while now. I just love the colors in it. Most of the fabrics used are from Joann.com. They were collected over a period of time so I’m pretty sure you won’t find any of these there now.
